About 1/3 of the delagates realized what I was trying to do and voted for Marcus and I. Impressive, but not enough. Maybe next year the delagates will understand more clearly what is at stake with the chair/vice-chair vote. I applaud those who show up and work at making the party successful no matter what their age! We accomplished a lot, and unexpectedly gained a fine supporter of freedom in Dr. Fisher's election as National Committeewoman, the first black woman to hold that post in NC. Time will tell if she is really on our side, but I am hopeful. The chair will have problems getting re-elected next year-the rank and file now know that she may lie to them also. I am extremely proud of Dr. BJ Lawson also, whe the going got tough, he move to the microphone and attempted to speak, unfortunately he was not allowed to do so. The man deserves our 100% support.
